Do I have a right of withdrawal?

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), as a private consumer you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. This applies to your entire purchase, including both the GPS tracker and the associated subscription. The withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the device. To exercise your right, notify us in writing before the withdrawal period expires. The device must be returned in its original condition at your expense, and you will receive a full refund.

The TripTrackIt subscription also includes a 21-day trial period from activation.

How does the hardware buyback guarantee work?

The buyback guarantee is available to private individuals only. You own the hardware and can cancel your service at any time. We offer a buyback guarantee for up to 2 years. If you cancel your service, you can sell the hardware back to us for 50% of the original purchase price if you cancel within 1 year, or 25% if you cancel within 2 years. The hardware must be complete and in working condition to qualify for the buyback guarantee.

Our buyback guarantee is not only designed to give you extra peace of mind as a customer – it is also part of our efforts to reduce unnecessary electronic waste. When you cancel your service, we can buy back your device and give it the opportunity to be used by a new customer. Just because a device has been used by one person does not mean it has reached the end of its useful life. By reusing devices that are still in good working condition, we can extend their lifespan and reduce the need to manufacture new ones. This way, you get a more secure purchase while helping us promote reuse and a more circular approach to our hardware.

Can I use TripTrackIt with more than one car?

Yes. Each vehicle requires its own GPS tracker. If you change cars, simply move the tracker to the new vehicle, register the new car in the app, and link the tracker to it.
